Brown Earns Society of Human Resource Management Senior Certified Professional Credential

Caldwell County Human Resources Director Beth Brown recently earned the Society of Human Resource Management Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential. The certification is for individuals with at least three years of performing strategic human resources related duties.   

Brown has served Caldwell County as Human Resources Director for just over one year. Prior to becoming director, she served as Deputy Human Resources Director. In addition to her experience with Caldwell County, Brown worked as assistant human resources director for an agency that provided services for individuals diagnosed with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities. 

Brown holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in History from UNC-Chapel Hill and a Master of Arts in History from Winthrop University. Brown is a member of the Alpha Kappa Psi Business Fraternity and the Phi Alpha Theta History Honor Society.

Brown joins more than 126,000 human resources professionals worldwide who hold the SHRM-SCP or SHRM-CP (Society of Human Resource Management Certified Professional) credential.
