Requests must be made two weeks prior to the event to allow ample time for planning and coverage. Prior to filling out the form, please review the information on fees. If the event is within the two-week time limit, please Email Emergency Services or call 828-757-1424 to determine if the request will be possible.

Fees

The fee schedule is renewed each year and is subject to change through the adoption of the County's annual budget. A new fee schedule goes into effect on July 1 of each year, at the beginning of the County's fiscal year. Standby units can consist of the following:

  • Advanced Life Support Single Resource ($50/Hour)
  • Basic Life Support Ambulance ($150/hour for first 3 hours, $75/each additional hour)
  • Advanced Life Support Ambulance ($155/hour)
  • Ambulance Bus ($105/hour)
  • UTV Team ($90/hour)

Should the date or time change, please notify us in advance. Additionally, should you need to contact our Special Events section on the day of your event then please contact Communications. If you have any further questions or concerns, please contact Caldwell County EMS.

By submitting this form, the event organizer attests that he/she has the authority to request the standby and assumes financial responsibility should the standby be approved and staffed.
