Reserves

The Reserve division is a group of men and women who are sworn officers, just like the patrol division, that supplements the Sheriff's Office. These men and women have normal, everyday jobs, and volunteer their time to the Sheriff's Office as available. This dedicated group handles some special events such as the Bridge to Bridge, and working summer operations in the Wilson Creek area. They supplement the patrol division when available and respond to the same types of calls and incidents as full-time officers.

If you would like to become a reserve deputy sheriff, you must complete the same Basic Law Enforcement Training as other officers. If you are interested in becoming a reserve deputy sheriff with the Caldwell County Sheriff's Office, please complete the same packet as a full-time deputy. You can obtain the packet on the Careers page.
